Cute Tag boy hangs out with girls non-stop. In fact, he has 7 girl cousins, and only 2 boy cousins, Isaac who is 7, and Kaleb who is 4 months. You see the problem? On top of that, there are a load of adorable little girls in our ward. Two of which live on our lane. There's an ongoing battle of which will get his attention. I'm sorry Addie bug, but I'm afraid Mia has been pretty aggresive lately.
Bath time in the wilderness.

My boy turned 18 months on Wednesday the 12th. We spent the evening watching home videos since the day he was born. It's hard to believe he is this old. It's like you don't notice them growing each day, but then look at a picture just a month prior and they're bigger! He was such a cute, smiley, baby. What a great blessing to have him in our family.
Sweet Success!!
Today, Tag went to nursery all by himself! The last couple of weeks I've been going in with him to help get him familiar. I didn't know how great he'd do because he has been acting a bit shy in there, but today he didn't even care when I told him I was leaving. It was so nice to go to class and sit by my sweetie in Sunday school. Of course, we took turns peeking in at him. Now I understand why parents do that so often. It is so wonderful to see your child growing and experiencing things independently. When I looked in, he was sitting there chowing on some snacks like he didn't have a care in the world.
P.S. He also had his first bloody nose last night. He face planted on the cement at a park, scratching his nose, lip, and bruising his forehead, along with the blood draining out of his nose. Poor little fella. He was strong though and only cried for a sec. Luckily, he's not old enough to understand what the blood is and freak out just for the sake of seeing it!

I'm just coming across pics I have from this summer that I have not documented on the blog yet. These are from Saturday June 6th.
We started out with a morning hike up the Indian Trail (near Ogden Canyon).
It was such a great day, just a tad breezy and look at those amazing clouds!
Oh my gosh, he is so cute!! This boy has me so love struck!Posted by Melissa at 12:27 PM 3 comments

It was such a fun 4th this year. This just happens to be Jon's favorite holiday. We started our morning with a breakfast at the church house, then to the Clearfield parade, home for a nice long nap, out to my mom's for swimming and bbq, and then on to the Clearfield fireworks.

Lucky summer birthdays! There are so many fun things to do! Jon wanted to go boating with his family. We went to Willard and a had a lovely day. Tag had a literal freak out in the boat and would not wear a life jacket, so let's just say he's not an avid boater yet, but he had fun playing on the beach and throwing rocks into the water.

First game of the season for us and they won!! We went during Jon's Birthday week. I just love love love being in a baseball stadium! The first time I went to a game was when the Salt Lake Team was still The Buzz. My Dad had called into some sports talk show and had me sing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" to win tickets. It was such a fun experience. Oh, and just a funny random memory of this...When he called in we were sitting in his old white truck outside of the old Winegar's in Clinton. Yes, that means we were on a cell phone. I was probably 11 and it was the first cell phone I had seen. It was one of those massive black bricks with a lengthy antenna. My Dad was the coolest man alive with his sleek cell phone:)

I was so excited to hike Timp cave last month, but sadly, after the long drive we were told they had sold out of tickets. There had been a rock slide in the morning, so everyone had to wait until the afternoon and even with my begging they were not about to let us tour the cave, so we headed back down to Thanksgiving Point and took Tag to Farm Country. It was only $3.50 a person and Tag enjoyed harassing the animals. The highlight of the trip??? Jon pointing to a nearby cow and asking the farmer boy, "Did he just get milked?" The boy responded, "yes, she did." Bahh ha ha! It was good fun!
