Tax season has arrived....dun dun dun.... which means as the wife of an accountant I wish my dear husband farewell towards the end of January and reunite with him again in early April. Ha, ha, ok, that's a bit dramatic, but we do miss him a lot during busy season. Last week began the 6 day work weeks, so Saturdays are now just me and Tag. We kept ourselves busy with snowman making to numb the pain:)

Bake Party!
I had Jayde and Savana over for some cupcake makin'. It was so darn fun! I just love doing this girly stuff and so glad I have such sweet nieces to do it with. Here are the results:

All Together Again!
We were so thrilled that Ben, Brandy, and the girls were able to come visit from Oklahoma. It's been an awful long time since we've all been together. So long, in fact, that Tag, Amoree, and Kaleb met their Uncle, Aunt, and cousins for the first time! The kids warmed right up to their older cousins. Aren't big families great?
Brock came to do some family pictures for us.Posted by Melissa at 2:41 PM 3 comments

Dang it, Tag, Smile!
I'm afraid we have completely passed over that stage where Tag will smile at anyone on cue. We've also passed that stage where pictures are fun and easy. These sure weren't simple like the old days, but after just a few tantrums, running full speed away from us, and some serious coercion, I think we got some great family pictures;) Thanks, Amanda!

Tag's First REAL Haircut
I know I was doing an awesome job of cutting his hair without any beautician training, but we decided to treat Tag with a professional cut before family pictures. Lucky guy. We even took him to Cookie Cutters where he got to play in a little car and watch Elmo. $17 dollars later he was looking just spiffy....back to mom haircuts:)

Thanksgiving 2009
We are so lucky to have two Thanksgiving celebrations. This year we went with the Abel Family the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. My mom did a beautiful job as always, and the kids were stoked about their new table.
